I have been lucky enough to be part of the Ruby Rock-It Design team for the past 5 years. I have recently accepted a new teaching position, so sadly, it is time for me to step aside and let some new people take over. I am so pleased to be able to welcome two of my scrapping friends that I have known for many years. I wont spoil their big announcement, but I can assure you that you are in incredible hands. Ruby Rock-It fans will be so spoiled.
Today is my last post here for the Ruby Rock-it team (sad that this day is here already) and i thought i would do something different and share some of my favorite projects that i have had the opportunity of creating on this amazing team through the years. I have been so blessed to work with such incredibly beautiful products each month filled with the latest designs and of course lots and lots of bling and sparkles too. It's been the best time ever!! So here goes.... enjoy the memories!!
Throughout December, we jumped into the festive spirit and created countless glittery, sparkly projects aimed to inspire you. Our featured product was none other than the new Francheville Glitter range and boy did the girls have a field day working with all the gorgeous colours. We also launched during the latter part of the year the new Just Bead It Seed Bead collection, Francheville Cards and Envelope sets and the ever popular Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Inks. If you missed any of our blog posts, here is a recap of our December projects....
Hello this is Chez.... Today I bring you another beaded gift.... This Comet Beaded Wall Hanging was inspired by the space programs that I have seen recently. The Blue/Green is the plasma that surrounds every comet.
Hi everyone, Beck Beattie here today sharing a little fun I had with the Francheville glitter packs today. I know I'm going to be making many more of these! Such an awesome last minute christmas card idea with just a few days to go until Christmas day!!
Today i have something really different to share with all of you but it's still keeping with the Christmas theme that we are doing for all of you this month. We have some amazing glitter packs that you can buy so i thought how fun to upcycle some of my old decorations and make something new and add lots of glitter to make it more festive.
Hi everyone - Melody here. Today I have the perfect last minute Christmas project! These beautiful beaded baubles have been around for ages but are such a fun Christmas craft idea.
We are already halfway through December and I am definitely excited with the Christmas spirit around. Today's glittery share is a masculine and a feminine Christmas card using Francheville's cardstock and glitter set.
A few weeks ago, I created a hanging pinecone wreath to add to my Christmas display. Today, I have created a Santa Sleigh table centrepiece to match.
Hi everyone, Beck Beattie here today sharing a fun idea for little kiddy Christmas gifts using the SO AWESOME Bella! Glitter Cardstock.
It is so wonderful that you stopped over today to see what is new with our Ruby Rock-it design team. We have lots of Christmas ideas for you all month so in keeping with the holidays i have a really quick card to share that i made with the Francheville card assortment in metallic and the Forever Blue Glitter pack. And as always i get all inspired and just keep creating so i also did a quick snowflake ornament and a glittery box to put a little something in.
I have been putting up Christmas decorations at home with my daughters and they are particularly excited with our Christmas tree. Every year I try to come up with at least one handmade Christmas tree decoration, and this year I created a glittery blue star.
This month our featured product was the glitzy new Francheville Glitter. Our design team just loved working with glitter and as you can see with all the projects, glitter has a remarkable way of adding that dazzling touch! With the main theme across the month being Christmas, our team were able to inspire you with plenty of gorgeous decorative ideas to get you in the festive spirit. Join us as we recap on all the great projects our team created during November....
Thanksgiving is finished here in The States, which means I have the official go-ahead to do all things Christmas. Today, I have used some new Francheville fine glitter to create a wreath for my front door. This is super cheap to make, as the kids and I collected the pinecones from the park on the way to school.
It's time again to share another fun project that you can do for Christmas with lots and lots of glitter and a few things you can pick up from your local hobby store. This year i wanted to add some ornaments to my trees that i made myself so i found these chipboard ornaments and thought how fun to cover them in glitter and add a few flowers to them. Something easy and fun to do.
