I have been lucky enough to be part of the Ruby Rock-It Design team for the past 5 years. I have recently accepted a new teaching position, so sadly, it is time for me to step aside and let some new people take over. I am so pleased to be able to welcome two of my scrapping friends that I have known for many years. I wont spoil their big announcement, but I can assure you that you are in incredible hands. Ruby Rock-It fans will be so spoiled.
Today is my last post here for the Ruby Rock-it team (sad that this day is here already) and i thought i would do something different and share some of my favorite projects that i have had the opportunity of creating on this amazing team through the years. I have been so blessed to work with such incredibly beautiful products each month filled with the latest designs and of course lots and lots of bling and sparkles too. It's been the best time ever!! So here goes.... enjoy the memories!!
It's always fun to celebrate all the different holidays in the States, and the 4th of July is one that I have actually not made decorations for before, so this month is a great time to celebrate the new Red, White and Blue paper collection from Bella!
Hello to all our wonderful Ruby Rock-It followers. We hope you have had a fabulous month. Can you believe June is just days away? Doesn't time fly? All throughout May our featured product was the gorgeous new Bella! Paper World collections and Mini themes. The team showcased all the masculine themes from the range which included Little Man, Little Prince, Family Man and Baby.
This month the team gave you all a sneek peak at two of our newest mini themes - Grandma's Kitchen and Magic & Wonder. Beck and Christine also created some magic with the new Botanical and Coast paper collections. Chez got into the Easter festivities with her gorgeous seed bead projects which included a Cross Bookmark and an adorable mini beaded basket. So in case you missed all the fun, here is a quick wrap up of their projects again.
February brought us the celebration of love with Valentine's Day and our team had plenty of fun experimenting with the new Francheville Glitter Glue. We were extremely excited to give you guys a sneak peak at some of the new Bella! papers that will hit the stores in the coming months. Soo..... in case you missed it, here's a quick February Flashback on all the amazing papercraft and beading inspiration we brought you last month:
I am just thinking ahead for the next holiday so today i am sharing a cute project that you can make for your kids or co workers for St. Patricks Day. I found some cute green cups and shamrock ribbon in my stash so i created a cute and sparkling shamrock to go on the front and for a pin too.
Wow what a month! After the craziness of December our design team didn't waste any time getting straight back into the new year, bringing more amazing creations to inspire you all. It's a little hard to believe that we are now in the second month of 2018. Seriously...how quick did January come and go? While we all stop and catch our breath, let's have a look back on all the fun crafty projects our team blogged about last month.
It's my favorite holiday project time again so lets get out some Ruby Rock-it glitter card stock and create a fun banner to decorate this year! This one is super easy to do and you can use die cuts or just cut them out by hand if you want to. But the best part is there is lots of glittery goodness to jazz things up for the Valentine's holiday coming soon.
Throughout December, we jumped into the festive spirit and created countless glittery, sparkly projects aimed to inspire you. Our featured product was none other than the new Francheville Glitter range and boy did the girls have a field day working with all the gorgeous colours. We also launched during the latter part of the year the new Just Bead It Seed Bead collection, Francheville Cards and Envelope sets and the ever popular Tim Holtz Ranger Distress Inks. If you missed any of our blog posts, here is a recap of our December projects....
Hello this is Chez.... Today I bring you another beaded gift.... This Comet Beaded Wall Hanging was inspired by the space programs that I have seen recently. The Blue/Green is the plasma that surrounds every comet.
Today i have something really different to share with all of you but it's still keeping with the Christmas theme that we are doing for all of you this month. We have some amazing glitter packs that you can buy so i thought how fun to upcycle some of my old decorations and make something new and add lots of glitter to make it more festive.
Hi everyone - Melody here. Today I have the perfect last minute Christmas project! These beautiful beaded baubles have been around for ages but are such a fun Christmas craft idea.
A few weeks ago, I created a hanging pinecone wreath to add to my Christmas display. Today, I have created a Santa Sleigh table centrepiece to match.
