This month at Ruby Rock-It, we are showcasing some of the many bling designs available. There are many many designs and colours to choose from, plus they are available in both pearl and rhinestone styles. I've used a little of both on my projects today.
My life is all about simplifying things these days so using bling is an easy way to add really pretty details to a simple and quick page. I used the "True Romantic" paper line for my page since it had the perfect shades of lavender, grey and pink to go with my photo. Not to mention beautiful roses and lots of bling to go with it. I have a quick tutorial below to give you an idea of what i used so be sure and keep reading ahead....
Hi Everyone it's Beck BT here and as this month we are Blinging it up I thought I'd go all bling on a sweet card perfect for any occasion.
Today we step back to April and recap on all the inspiration and imagination shared by our awesome design team. The most obvious and very exciting change this month was the introduction of our first ever Just Bead It Designers to the team. These talented ladies did a phenomenal job breathing life into the humble bead, creating breathtaking inspirational jewellery pieces. Our Ruby Rock-it blog is always filled with amazing creations by our Design team and we post these simply to engage and inspire our followers.
Spring is in full bloom in the Northern Hemisphere and this has inspired me to create a layout filled with Pink Bella Florals. I paired these pretties with the New York paper collection. Here's my pretty in pink page.
Hi Everyone, Beck Beattie today with a sweet card I created using the florals, doilies and Bella! New York Paperz. I really wanted to contrast the grey pattern in the paper and while florals with some pops of colour and fun.
It's almost Mother's Day, so I have been busy creating some pretty cards to celebrate. Both of these were made using the Faded Empire range. I really love the colours and patterns in these papers.
The weather is starting to warm up here in California. Flowers are blooming, my roses are out, and spring is definitely here. Not only that, but of course Easter is right around the corner. So, for my projects this week, I decided to make a pretty trio of cards in pastels that could suit either Spring or Easter.
With Mother's day not too far away, I have created this stunning ocean inspired freeform bead embroidered heart necklace. Feeling inspired? Check out my tutorial and I'll show you exactly how to make it....
Today on the blog we recap on all the March Madness. Spring, Florals and Easter dominated our projects this month. Hearts and Stripes, New York and True Romantic papers featured beautifully throughout. Lets recap on what our awesome designers created for us this month shall we?
With Valentine's Day now past, it is time to start looking to Easter. I have been wanting to do a hot air balloon for ages, (well another one, this is my second, but in a different style). I was inspired by Teresa Horner's recent post where she created an Easter banner for her mantle. She used the pastel colours of the Hearts and Stripes range, which made me think of all things fresh and new which of course is the epitome of Easter.
Hi Everyone, it's Beck BT here today to share with you a beautiful card with floral accents. I just adore this New York collection. It has quickly become my 'go to' probably because they feature many of my favourite colours. Today I have teamed it up with lots of my favourite Fundamentals products to create my card.
Planners are the craze at the moment and today I get to share with you my take on a monthly planner, Bella style.
This week I thought I would try something a little different. I decided to make some tags instead of cards. The more I thought about what I wanted to include on them, the more I realised that it was time to go big. These are not your everyday gift tags. They are each 9 inches tall and 4 inches wide.
