February brought us the celebration of love with Valentine's Day and our team had plenty of fun experimenting with the new Francheville Glitter Glue. We were extremely excited to give you guys a sneak peak at some of the new Bella! papers that will hit the stores in the coming months. Soo..... in case you missed it, here's a quick February Flashback on all the amazing papercraft and beading inspiration we brought you last month:
Hi everyone - Melody here - Happy New Year! We have been having such summery weather here so for this blog I have created a pair of beachy quill necklaces.
Hi everyone - Melody here. Today’s project is a simple but beautiful long and layered necklace created with some of the new Just Bead it range of seed beads. Christmas is on the way so I was keen to incorporate red into the design and the fun style of this piece is perfectly suited for the up and coming Australian warmer weather.
I was inspired by all the bright energy of the Brazilian Carnivale when I created this piece. It is full of bold and beautiful colours! There are two sections to this design, the tassel pendant and the intricately beaded length. I really like the combination of red, yellow and gold and the different shapes and textures of the beads go really well to create a necklace full of wonderful summery vibes.
Happy Friday and thank you for stopping by the Ruby Rock-it blog. Today i am sharing a page that i did to catch up with my summer projects that i have in the To-Do pile in my crafty room. In keeping with my "time is very limited theme" I created my simple and easy page with pretty beach styled papers to give my picture that feel of what it might have looked like long ago on Santa Monica beach.
Today on the Ruby Rock-It blog, I am sharing a layout I have created for my daughter using the new Glitz glitter cardstock. I've used it here as both a background layer and again as a die cut fancy photo mount.
Well peeps, we have officially crossed the halfway mark and well on our way into the second half of the year. We all know what that means? Yep, Christmas is just around the corner.....yikes!! Today let's recap on what our extraordinary design team got up to in June....
We have a family friend getting married to the love of his life this weekend so i made up a fancy card using the Bella "Betrothed Paper Collection" I really love the rich gold and ivory shades of the Bella Betrothed Bloom paper and it really came together easy with the beautiful roses and the sentiment that i fussy cut from the Bella Betrothed Snippets papers.
Thanks so much for stopping by today on the Ruby Rock-it blog to see what's new with all of us. I had some fun with the new Bella Glitz papers for our 4th of July holiday here in the states so i thought i would share the idea with all of you.
We had a fabulously busy January. As always, our aim is to inspire our Ruby Rock-it fans and to be your go to place for ideas, tips, creativity and inspiration. January saw Bella's ever so gorgeous Raw & Rustic and New York papers feature a great deal between projects. Similarly as did our adorable Fundamentals embellishments which included the minipegs, butterflies, sentiments and doilies. So if you missed all the creative fun, here's a little recap of what we got up to......
Happy New Year to you and I hope you've welcomed 2017 with a bang! After celebrating Christmas I always get before, during, and after Christmas photos to scrap. Today's post is a fun Christmas layout with Bella's gorgeous Raw & Rustic collection.
Our design team had a blast bringing to life their inspiration for thanksgiving and christmas cheer. Many of their projects have featured our new Bella! Wedding papers and Joyeux Noel collection which the girls have had lots of enjoyment with.

Today I have a new project to share with you using the Summer Daze Mini Theme from Ruby Rock-It. This is another photo from our recent trip to Hawaii, only this time, I have created a canvas rather than a regular layout.
Today I am sharing a step by step tutorial on how I created this fun Summer Vacation layout. We just arrived home from Hawaii, so I have loads of summery beach photos to scrap. I have used the Summer Daze mini theme for this layout along with some corrugated cardstock. I also used some netting to add to the theme.
