Hi there and happy August to you! Do you know that there's only 20 more weeks to go before Christmas? For this reason, I have started to gradually create my Christmas cards. This year I plan on making each card extra special, and today I get to share with you my 2018 Christmas Card #1:
July marks my one year anniversary since joining the Ruby Rock-it team. Where the year went, I cannot tell you but what I do know is that it has been one of the most wonderful inspiring years of my life. I have a magnificent creative team and delightful products to work with. This is my job yet it doesn't feel like work. I am always in awe of the brilliant creativity that my team come up with every week. Let's have another look at what the girls got up to last month. Enjoy!
Hi, it’s Melody here with my latest beading project! You can’t really tell here in sunny Queensland, but it is actually winter in Australia, so I thought I would make something bright today and banish the midwinter blues - with some vibrant pinks, beautiful purples and a little bit of shimmer & shine.
Well peeps, we have officially crossed the halfway mark and well on our way into the second half of the year. We all know what that means? Yep, Christmas is just around the corner.....yikes!! Today let's recap on what our extraordinary design team got up to in June....
This neckwear has been inspired by the coldness in the air at different parts of the day and night. I have had a world of fun playing with these beads. This piece is made using a Herringbone base, tendrils and adding bling in a freeform manner.
Hello this is Chez… The neckwear that I have for you is inspired by the frost that we have in winter. It sparkles like diamonds in the morning sun from everything it has touched. I hope you get inspired to Just Bead It as well…
We had a fabulously busy January. As always, our aim is to inspire our Ruby Rock-it fans and to be your go to place for ideas, tips, creativity and inspiration. January saw Bella's ever so gorgeous Raw & Rustic and New York papers feature a great deal between projects. Similarly as did our adorable Fundamentals embellishments which included the minipegs, butterflies, sentiments and doilies. So if you missed all the creative fun, here's a little recap of what we got up to......
Seeing all my friends from the other side of the world having fun in the snow makes me dream of snowy landscapes and cozing up by the bonfire. All this thinking got me inspired to create a wintery card with Fundamentals' Cardstock and Bella's New York collection.
Christmas may be over, but I was still able to make use of the some of the Joyeux Noel papers to create this winter layout from our afternoon of ice skating with the kids.
A few weeks ago, I travelled to New York with a friend and got to have a play in the snow. It was a lot of fun, but so very cold. Completely by co-incidence I used the Bella! New York paper range, along with some corrugated cardstock for texture.
