Hi Everyone and it's so nice that you dropped by today to see what is new on the Ruby Rock-it blog. Today i have a fun project to share with all of you that i did with a recycled Twinings tea box and a bag that i had in my stash. I have a friends wedding coming up in April so i thought i would get to work on a cute little box for a gift card for them and a pretty bag to put it all in. It didn't take much time at all with the beautiful " Bella Betrothed" paper collection. It's gorgeous and has both gold and silver details so there was so much that i could do with it.
This month has been very busy for our family party-wise as friends and family seem to be celebrating a birthday party one after another. This meant I had to start creating a variety of birthday cards for these special occassions. Today I get to share with you one of these cards featuring Fundamentals' new colors and goodies.
It's Valentine's Day and while we really don't celebrate it in schools back in Australia, they sure do here in the States! This year will be my first time in class on this holiday so I couldn't resist making something a little bit cute for it. I like to give my kids an opportunity to write notes if they want to report something to me, or just want to chat but don't want to do it out loud. So this will stay on my desk even after Valentines day.
Welcome to the Spotlight on our Ruby Rock-it Design Team series. Our talented and inspirational team bring us amazing projects each and every week so we thought it was about time our Ruby Rock-it audience got to learn more about the faces behind the talented projects.
This month, please welcome the lovely Alicia Barry....
I received a Silhouette machine for Christmas and I have been enjoying having a little fun with it lately. I just knew teaming up some cut files with these divine papers and embellishments in the Fundamentals ranges would be just perfect! You may have noticed I have a running affair with the doilies, well today I'm going to show you a neat way to use them on your cards.
Hi and welcome to our blog today. It's Teresa here to share another fun project i made up with lots and lots of fun products from the Ruby Rock-it store. I really had a blast making this one and all the reds and glitter gems i got to use really made it gorgeous!
Hi Everyone it's Beck BT here sharing a sweet page I created of a special moment captured of my boy. I adore the Bella True Romantic Paperz collection. They are just so versatile!
February is all about the month of hearts, and this got me inspired to create a heart shaped card suitable for a birthday girl. I've incorporated Fundamentals new cardstock colors, bitty bows, doilies and sentiment toppers with Ruby Rock-It's Bolt collection.
We had a fabulously busy January. As always, our aim is to inspire our Ruby Rock-it fans and to be your go to place for ideas, tips, creativity and inspiration. January saw Bella's ever so gorgeous Raw & Rustic and New York papers feature a great deal between projects. Similarly as did our adorable Fundamentals embellishments which included the minipegs, butterflies, sentiments and doilies. So if you missed all the creative fun, here's a little recap of what we got up to......
This month I decided to create a couple of cards using some of the new embellishments from Ruby Rock-it and featuring Bella Raw & Rustic papers. I deliberately made the two cards as a matching set. I used the same set of materials and a similar general concept to create co-ordinating but separate cards.
