A Sweet Card for Someone Amazing

Hi Everyone it's Beck BT here and I'm sharing with you a sweet card I made with lots of pretty Bella! Raw and Rustic Paperz

I thought I would have fun with some Faux stitching to create a sweet patchwork effect on the background of my card today, teaming it up with the new Francheville Card and envelope packs.

Products Used:

Bella! Raw and Rustic Paperz - Table Toppers, Bunting, Timberland and Valentines
Francheville Card and Envelope pack - Metallic 50 pk
Fundamentals Sentiments Alpha Stickers - White on Kraft
Bella!  Floral white large
Bella! Floral yellow Small
Bella!  Floral Gold 7pcs
Ruby Rock-It Happy Days Glittered Chipboard Alphabets

I just love how it came and I'm excited to take you though my process!

I started out by cutting some strips of the pattern paper and then choosing a complimenting colour card base for my card.  I decided on the silver colour from the Metallics set.

I added some cardboard for a little dimention and strength a little smaller than the card base size as I still want to see some of this colour on the finished card.

I cut a piece of double side adhesive sheet that would be slightly larger than the cardboard but smaller than the card base and removed one side to expose the adhesive on one side only at this stage.

Next I started to plan out my design with the strips and stuck them down onto the adhesive sheet ensuring it was completely covered.

Next I flipped it over and trimmed off the excess pattern paper

All nicely trimmed!

I then placed the piece of paper onto a thick foam and added pin hole marks where stitching would go.  I then used a white pen to add my stitching lines  - FAUX stitching in no time!

I then removed the other side of the adhesive backing to expose the adhesive and added it centre to my card and set about embellishing to finish the card.
I love how the card came and I can't wait to gift it to a special and deserving person!

I hope you enjoyed my share today.

Happy Crafting!
