Today on the Ruby Rock-It blog, I am sharing a layout I have created for my daughter using the new Glitz glitter cardstock. I've used it here as both a background layer and again as a die cut fancy photo mount.
I started with white corrugated card that I tore to reduce in size to around 11 inches square. I sprayed this with blue paint mist, then adhered it to white glitz card stock, which was trimmed to about 11.5 inches. I then mounted that onto a 12x12 sheet of white card stock.
Next, I die cut a 5x7 frame from the same glitz card stock. I cut off the bottom corner on a diagonal and spread it out (otherwise that whole corner wild be hidden). I ran one of the new Francheville blue cards through my embossing machine, then used it as a photo mount, along with the die cut.
I embellished the corner of the photo with Bella! Florals and created a matching cluster in the top right corner of the layout. I tucked some strips of the blue and glitz card stock into the cluster as little flags.
I added a tiny sentiment sticker onto leftover card stock and tucked it into the bottom cluster as a title.
