This month at Ruby Rock-It, we are showcasing some of the many bling designs available. There are many many designs and colours to choose from, plus they are available in both pearl and rhinestone styles. I've used a little of both on my projects today. I have used the New York Paperz from Bella! and used the same basic design across two cards to make a matching set. In fact I even used just one piece of patterned paper and just flipped it to the back side design for the second card. This is a favourite technique I like to use to create matching sets and it saves a lot of time too.
I started with Fundamentals square card bases, which match the paper colour perfectly. The embellishment tags and sentiments are also the same co-ordinating colour.
On this one i Have used the pearl bling. It stands out against the black paper perfectly and mimics the design in the paper. As I often do, I cut the one piece into several smaller pieces, one being a larger focus piece.
For the second card, I used one of a 4 piece corner set. I then used a little extra cut from a second corner to extend the design across the card.
Notice the tiny little hearts on each of the sentiment tags.
