Ruby Rock-It

a beautiful moment

by elendae | August 9, 2013

Hello there!  It’s me, Linda, posting on the blog today, and I have a brand new page to share with

you!   I have spent a lot of time in the

past decade or so reading and sharing on scrapbooking message boards.  A question that I have seen often deals with

themed paper collections – namely how to use themed collections to scrap pages

that don’t necessarily fit the theme.

I used some of our brand new Wedding-themed papers from both

the At

Last and Betrothed ranges, along with coordinating embellishments to put

together a lovely summer day page…with nary a bride in sight!

I love great variety included in the Bella! Die-Cut Packs,

and used quite a few from this set on my page.  The metallic gold accents are gorgeous, and so on-trend!

I have recently discovered the Fundamentals Fancies, which are

small printed transparencies – this one is printed with metallic gold and is

just lovely as my little title banner.   Our swap partner this month is Scrap FX and I

used their awesome chipboard alpha for my title.

I hope that I've inspired you to look at your themed papers and embellishments with fresh eyes!

Have a great day!
