A Festive Month It Was.....Cheers to December!

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas day with your loved ones!  December indeed, was a whirlwind of a month.  The build up towards the 25th is often met with overwhelming excitement with a hint of sheer panic!  From putting up the tree & lights, shopping for presents, planning the Christmas lunch menu, end of year concerts and work parties, it's a hype of non-stop activity!  Yes, it's probably one of the most craziest times of the year, but you can't deny that the festive season brings with it plenty of joy and happiness.  In saying that, we hope you were able to take a big breath, relax and unwind on the big day?

As December draws to an end and a brand new year is looming, lets take a moment to revisit the festive cheer our talented design team created for all our Ruby Rock-it fans.  Our featured products this month were the Crafters Choice Nostalgic Treasures and Festive Pop collections as well as the Just Bead-It JBSV Glass bead range.

Glass Faceted Prismatic Multi-Strand Necklace by Dominique

Today on the blog, I am going to show you how to make an elegant multistrand necklace using the high-quality glass, faceted beads from Just Bead It. These beads are perfect for reflecting prisms of light, and would make the perfect showstopping piece for a special occasion such as a graduation or other event. The beads used in this piece are so unique and, by using eye pins to space each bead apart, I believe this design really showcases their individuality and prismatic nature.

Childhood Memoris Christmas Album by Raelene

After finding this Christmas photo from my childhood, I decided I would create a 6x6 layout with the Crafters Choice Nostalgic Treasures range that I could stick to the back of my Childhood Christmas Memories album.

Oh Deer, Christmas is Here! by Trudi

Trudi back with you today sharing some more Festive Pop fun.  This collection is so much fun.  I just love the bright colours and super cute imagining.  One certainly goes to a festive, happy place with Christmas Unicorns, Llama's and flamingo's.  I can't believe that Christmas is nearly here!

Festive Pop Advent Calendar by Christine

We have officially started counting down for Christmas at home, and this year I have transformed a plain pizza box into an advent calendar with the help of the new Crafters Choice Festive Pop Christmas range.

Festive Bunting Decoration by Beckie

I just can't let the festive season pass without creating a bunting.  I love to decorate the house with hand made goodies and buntings are one of my favourite!

Aussie Christmas Memories by Raelene

When organising my photos to send them to my daughter's house I found the very first Santa photo with my youngest. He is so tiny in this photo; I just had to keep it out and scrap it.  The Crafters Choice Festive Pop was the perfect range for scrapping this photo as it has those gorgeous summer colours and I can see by how sweaty the kids are that it was a hot day.

And that's a Wrap.....

We hope you enjoyed revisiting our brilliant December projects!  Our team just loved working with the Nostalgic Treasures and Festive Pop collections.  Their creations were fun, vibrant and made with love!

We wish you all a very happy new year and will be back again soon as we take a look back at the year that was 2019.

Happy Crafting!
