Adore J'Adore

by Sandy Ang | October 2, 2012

Hi it's Sandy showing you that the J'adore papers work beautifully on non-wedding projects too. For example this weathered blue woodgrain Forever Yours paper makes a lovely background for my layout about a little girl playing with soap bubbles.

I printed the photos wallet-size and clustered them with a bird-cage, a half doily, frames and Decoupage butterflies. It acts as a balance against the floral bouquet in the lower corner and leads the eye up to the journalling at the top of the page.

I love these tall, skinny alphas from the Boutique School Day collection. As befits the shabby chic feel of the layout I stitched them on, then ruffled the edges to lift them off the page for a dimensional effect.

And here's a quick and easy card  where I framed an image from the Love Birds paper and used a Reminisce sticker for my sentiment. Add two organza brads and it's done.

For more J'adore inspiration check out this layout from Becky Olsen, this layout and card from Debbie Sherman and this card from JJ Sobey.
