Hello everyone!

I'm so happy and honored to be here today! I had so much fun playing with the new Essence Empire Bebe collection that I created several little projects with it.

The first project I decided to make with the new Essence Empire Bebe collection were baby greeting cards.

To make it simple, I decided to use only one stamp and one card layout, but with 3 different colors and 3 different backgrounds. Let me show you how.

First I stamped my image 3 times on watercolor paper and I colored it with ink and a paint brush.

Instead of using watercolor to color my image I used water based inks. To do so, I pushed my ink pads onto a plastic surface (my stamp positioner in this case) to make myself a custom color palette. This way I could mix the colors easily and get different colors.

Instead of using your ink pads, you can also use any water base ink marker and scribble on the plastic surface to make yourself a palette like I did here with the green.

Here's the first baby card...

To make the background, I used a stencil and some my same ink.

I first adhered sticky notes to my card to create a frame that would protect the areas of my card where I didn't want to have ink. I have two post-it notes on each side of the card and one on top.

I then inked a sponge and dabbed it several times onto my stencil until I had a good coverage.

When I took away the stencil and the mask (the post-it notes), it looked like this:

I then added a strip of grey cardstock (I stitched it in place for added texture) and a ribbon and I added my stork with some foam adhesive.

My second card was much quicker to make:

For my background I used a 1" circle punch and I punched out 9 circles from 9 patterned papers from the collection. I adhered them to the base of the card, added a ribbon and my stamped stork again with some foam adhesive.

On my third card I used water based ink again to make a watercolor background.

I scribbled 2 colors of inks onto my plastic palette and I spritzed a little bit of water. I then pressed my blank card in the puddle of ink/water. When I lifted it I played a little with my card to bring the color where I wanted it. I angled the card so that the water would go up and down and to the sides of my card. I then heath set the ink with my heat gun.

I used a die to cut out a polaroid frame from one of the journaling card I had and I placed it over my background. I then stamped the word you.nique and embossed it with white embossing powder. I added a small paw sticker right underneath it. Finally I tied a ribbon and added my stork with some foam adhesive.

The small stamp sets are just the perfect size for cards and to create small embellishments and the images are adorable!

Finally, I wanted to see how I could do a layout using some 12x12 papers and journaling cards from the collection. I made a nice layout for my oldest daughter's album.

I used a 4x4 photo and I layered it over a couple of papers and journaling cards.

I used a 3x4 journaling card to write my journaling.

And I layered a transparency with a the perfect quote!

Finally I added some stars that I have cut with my Silhouette Cameo in some glittery silver cardstock that I had on hand. I stitched them to my page with my sewing machine.

The colors of the whole Essence Empire Bebe collection are very subtle and neutral and since my layout is about my daughter's sleeping habits, the colors were working great for me. I could have easily added color though by coloring the animals on the journaling cards for example or by using more of the pink/blue papers and journaling cards of the collection.

Voilà! I hope you liked my ideas and projects and I hope I inspired you to create some beautiful projects with this gorgeous collection.
