Ruby Rock-It

Bedtime Ritual (with Dad)

by Cindy Walker Stevens | June 15, 2013

Hello Scrappy Friends!

I am SO excited to be sharing my first post with you!

Cindy Stevens here today to share a LO honouring the Daddies in our lives. Every night my hubby would snuggle on the couch and watch Seinfeld with our little guy until he fell asleep. I like to document the little everyday things and knew this was a LO that I wanted to put in his first year scrapbook. I used a lot of elements from the vintage-y Cook line for my LO. I love cutting elements out of paper and tucking them in here and there. I also used a piece of vellum from the Cards collection and layered it on top of white cardstock for a bit of detail.

The Kinda Krafty line pairs nicely with the pale colors and anchors the LO.

I also like to cut bits and pieces from embellishments to make them fit on my smallers LOs. I couldn't help trimming the artisan edge from the Carnival King Pockets (yellow polka dot) and tucking it under my striped border.

I finished my cluster with a pennant topped with a star that I treated with liquid adhesive and ClearSnap glitter in Fool's Gold. I like the bit of sparkle that it adds to the LO.
