Card making inspiration - three different ways!

Hi Ruby Rock-it fans, it's Teresa here today and this month, the team are all sharing our ideas using the brand new Fundamentals cardstock range and Embellishments.  We have brand new card stock in lots of sizes and colors.  Little tags and butterflies to go with it and not to mention, all the other fun Fundamentals goodies in the range.  I made 3 cards that I'd love to share with you and have also included a tutorial to finish off so i hope you enjoy what i did today.

My first share is a card i made with the new Fundamentals cardstock squares in yellow.  We also have these beautiful mini sets of paper that fit great on them and i used the "Get Hitched" set.  I love the striking yellows and blacks together and the prints are smaller so they fit perfect when doing cards.
I also used some of our Bella floral flowers in yellow.  The congrats word is from the alphabet stickers.  In those sets you get big and small letters and a sheet of sentiments.  They are my favorite 'go to' and there are plenty of letters and vowels to use on all kinds of projects that you do.
My next card is called 'Life is good'.  I love the colors in this set.  It has deep rich pinks and aqua colors from the " Heritage Collection".  For this i used the Die Cuts, the stickers and the smaller die cuts for the flowers.  Oh and i had some pink bling so i used a bit of that at the top of the card and also on the tiny butterflies which I added to the flowers.  I love to make tiny collages of all the bits and pieces that i have in my stash.  It's fun to mix and match too and I love to create beautiful things to give to your friends and family.

And lastly i have a quick card that i made below with the white A6 cardstock and the new butterflies, tags and the closepins.  This went together really quick like all the others.
So lets get started then.  First you will need all the items that you see below.  I love sharing the picture of the real things so that you can see more of what you get inside those adorable little packages.
You will need the white A6 cards, red, black and white embossed tags, the red Vintage butterflies, the clothespins, sentiment stickers and a piece of the black and white printed paper from the celebrate line.  You will also need white cardstock to cut an oval, scissors, ribbon, liquid pearls, glue dots, 3D Foam Squares, adhesive and a paper trimmer to cut the background papers.

1. Start with one of the white cards for the base.  Cut the black printed paper to measure 3 3/4x 51/2.  Mat the paper with white paper border 1/8 of an inch bigger.  Take a piece of white bias ribbon and wrap around the card as shown and tie in a knot.  Adhere this piece to the card with 3D Foam squares.
2. Cut a oval in white card and glue it on top of the ribbons.  Glue a black and a red tag at the bottom as shown.  Tie a pretty ribbon bow and glue on top of the tags.  Attach the Wow sentiment on the white embossed tag in the set and attach it to the ribbon with the closespins.  Now you can add butterflies to fly across the card and use a small black fineline pen to create the tiny lines.  To finish add the liquid pearls or pearls you have in your stash.
I hope you are inspired with my cards today and be sure to check out our website and Facebook page for lots more ideas this month with our new Fundamentals cardstock and embellishments.
