Creating some fun with textures and layers

Hi Everyone, Beck Beattie here back from lots of travel being a guest artist at the large expos in Australia and New Zealand over the past month.  It sure has been a busy time!  I thought I would share with you one of the scrapbook pages we created in the classes at the Brisbane Expo.  The ladies had LOADS of fun learning many techniques for adding texture and layers into their scrapbooking using divine products by Ruby Rock-It Bella Fundamentals.

Here is the fun page they created in this class.

As many would know that have attended one of my classes, there was lots of different techniques shared, so today I thought I would give you a sneak into the class with just one of the techniques we covered.

The papers and embellishments went a long way to creating some fun and texture, by applying a coat of gesso to the corrugated cardstock we were able to transform it a little into a fun shappy style look full of added texture.  We accented the corrugates by adding some color spray created by mixing some Tinby Designs Color Crush 'Blue Heaven' powder into water and adding to a mini mist bottle and allowing it to dry in the valleys of the corrugates.

Bella Fundamentals corrugate cardstock comes in many colours so you are sure to find a colour to go with your project.  You can check them all out HERE
