ECT | Friday Files December | Caylee

by Caylee Grey | December 13, 2014

I loved the animal print pattern on this paper and I took the broken pattern part of it into the photos. I split them into four each and arranged them haphazardly on the side of the page. I kept a thin white border around them to mimic the animal pattern. I stuck the letters out for "celebrate", and I journaled directly onto the page. I really love journaling directly. I wonder if I'll ever prefer something else... probably not. The gold foil cut out was there for a bit of pizzazz, making an ordinary page into a bit of a celebration. My favourite kind of pages.
Text reads: By far, one of our favourite ways to celebrate is by going out for breakfast. I realise this makes us incredibly boring, especially because there is no champagne at these mornings. There is just something about turning an everyday thing like breakfast into a mini celebration. It's all about making eggs magical.
Products used: Empire Bebe paper, East Coast mini alpha stickers, cut file from Wilna Furstenburg
