ECT | September Friday Files | Aimee

Welcome to another Friday Files where we concentrate on the journaling process, the important stuff, your story.  Today, Aimee shares her morning routine and how amazing the simplicity of a story structure is, in telling your story.

Thank you, Aimee.

Hi, Aimee here! Welcome to another Friday File with the Essence Creative team. As always I have stuck with the 3 photos down the left with my journaling on the right. I have to say there is something very cathartic about not having to come up with a new design every month and just focus on the journaling.

This month I did things a little differently. My design was based on cut outs.

I used my favorite ombre paper to line my hand cut boxes. I also typed straight on to a cut apart strip and created another box for my title.

Routine was another tough subject for me. Most kids grow up with it ingrained in them, but for me it has been something I have had to learn as an adult. It was for this reason I broke the topic down into smaller parts. Focusing on one routine I do really well. The rest are still kind of a work in progress. Here is the journaling.

Don't you just love vintage typefaces. They make me happy. Well I hope you have enjoyed this look into my Friday files.

Until next time...

Aimee xx
