Family Traditions with Erin

Hello Ruby Rock-It Fans!  Hope you and your families enjoyed a very nice Thanksgiving, for those who celebrate!  Did anyone go out and brave the Black Friday sales?  It's Erin here today with one of our family traditions to share.

Every year, we write down some things we are thankful for, and we place them in a little box...and then during Thanksgiving dinner, we open and read them aloud.

This year, here's the box I created...taking an old pencil case and embellishing with our Year In Review and Country Cookin ranges...

I started by layering the Year In Review papers to border the bottom of the box and added in some ric rac and our beautiful twine!

And how cute are our 3d embellishments...the Happiness is homemade is just perfect here!

The top of the box is layered with our beautiful papers adhered with foam strips and punches in the shapes of hearts and scalloped circles.  I've also add in our beautiful florals!

And then I chose to cut out one of the beautiful cards from our papers...and this is the family bakery one.  Our girls love to bake cookies of all this is just what completed this project!

Supply List:

Year In Review papers

Country Cookin papers

Country Cookin Twine

Country Cookin 3d embellishments

Doilies - Michaels

Ric Rac - LSS

Punches - EK Success

Thank you for stopping by and making Ruby Rock-It a part of your creative day!

And remember, for our Australian Fans - Spotlight will be carrying our beautiful Handi Scandi and Country Cookin next month!
