Ruby Rock-It

For You

by Erin Yamabe | April 2, 2012

Hello and Happy Monday crafty friends!  Hope you had a very nice weekend!  It's Erin with you today, and I have a little August Moon album in the making...It's going to be an Easter gift for a dear friend:)

We have some gorgeous new vellum, and I love how very easy it is to work with!  I've used some punches and diecuts, and some very intricate ones at that, and it cuts very smoothly and it adds such a delicate touch:)

Today, I would like to share with you, how to make this little flower that I learned from Pam Black a few years back, and is a go to flower for me time and again!

You will need two different patterned papers, and one vellum sheet.  Choose your favorite circle punch, and then punch out two circles from each patterned paper and one from the vellum.

Fold all patterned paper circles in half.

Next, you will begin to build the flower.  Place 1/2 of one flower on top of 1/2 of another [opposite patterns] and adhere.  Continue until you have all 4 petals showing, the patterns will alternate.

Then, adhere the vellum circle on top, and voila!  For this sample, I also added a rolly flower from another piece of vellum and added some Blingz.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a fabulous day ahead!
