Glitter Christmas Tree Ornaments

It's time again to share another fun project that you can do for Christmas with lots and lots of glitter and a few things you can pick up from your local hobby store.  This year i wanted to add some ornaments to my trees that i made myself so i found these chipboard ornaments and thought how fun to cover them in glitter and add a few flowers to them.  Something easy and fun to do.
So first i started by taking the ornaments apart and then using glue and a paintbrush i cover them in glue and sprinkled lots and lots of gold glitter from the new glitter sets.  And then let them dry.
And since you have the glitter out get a fine tip glue pen and add bits of the glitter to the flowers that you have or made so that they sparkle on the tree too.  This is my favorite time of year to glitter everything up because the lights make everything so magical.
And the ornaments come in sets of 6 so you can even make some up for gifts or just add your families pictures to the tree this year.

Or you can use your favorite stamps like i did with this Quietfire stamp in glitter embossing to match.

After i put them back together i added a green glitter leaves that i die cut from our glitter cardstock and just a tiny small ribbon bow tucked in on the side to make it even prettier.

This was such a fun and easy project that i did in just one evening and now i have pretty ornaments to sparkle up my tree this year.  Glitter is so fun to use on all those frames, ornaments and everything else you can find to dazzle up the holidays.  Enjoy and have fun everyone!!
