Ruby Rock-It

Glitzy Valentine's Banner

Glitzy Valentine's Banner

It's my favorite holiday project time again so lets get out some Ruby Rock-it glitter card stock and create a fun banner to decorate this year!  This one is super easy to do and you can use die cuts or just cut them out by hand if you want to.  But the best part is there is lots of glittery goodness to jazz things up for the Valentine's holiday coming soon.

To make my banner i cut 10 red pieces of glitter paper with a banner die cut and set them aside.  Then i cut 12 pink scalloped hearts also with a die cut.  To make them pop more against the red i cut white card stock with a larger scalloped die and glued them behind the pink glittery ones.  This will give it more stability to hang it up.  Let the pieces dry.

Then to jazz up the hearts even more i die cut red glittery flowers and green glittery leaves with our pink and green glitter papers.  I glued them together and added a small white flower in the center of each and let them dry too.  And then to finish i added smaller perfect pearls on them.  After it all dried really well i punched holes in each of them with a crop-a-dile and then laced them together with a gorgeous piece of red ribbon.

And here is the finished banner up on my mantle... I just need a few more little things to decorate it and I will be set.  These hearts would also be great to make as Valentine's for your kids to give away this year.  It's always more special when they make something by themselves and put in a few candies.
Thank you so much for stopping by and be sure and check back again ... I have one more post for valentines coming up with lots more to share.

Green Glitter card stock
