Ruby Rock-It

Happy Birthday Cards

by Linda | August 3, 2013

Hello Ruby Rock-It fans!.  Linda Kretz here to share two birthday cards showing  you new ways to get your own creative ideas flowing!   It is truly exciting to create with the gorgeous paper ranges and embellishments, which can be mixed and matched with each other!

I used the At Last  paper range for my first card ...loved the sassy peacock and the color combinations!  I fussy cut the peacock, and foam dotted it to the background of peacock features.  I placed some acetate swirls behind the bird, then added some coral pieces, antique lace and black faux stitching and gems to finish the card.

My second card is very feminine, and I loved the bright pink decoupage roses against the light blue background!  I used three layers of the decoupage flowers and leaves to get maximum dimension, and placed the roses on a background from the same package.  I used antique lace and some green organdy ribbon to provide color balance to the rest of the card.

I hope you found as much enjoyment in my cards as I did in making them!  Thanks for stopping by!
