Ruby Rock-It

Honoring our Moms | Special Project with Beckie

"Mothers hold their children's hands for a moment and their hearts forever."
There are so many amazing mothers out there and one day each year, that is dedicated to them. I am here to share a frame I made for a mother who welcomed a new member into her family.
I had a 8 x 8 frame which had been gathering dust so I decided to give it a clean up and decorate the inside with a layout.  I used the Ruby Rock-It distressed looking wood paper from the mini themes for the background.  I just love the look of this paper, giving the distressed look with out getting covered in paint.
As the new addition was a little boy I picked out the blue colours from the papers.  The photo was already in sepia so I made it pop from the page but framing it with a couple of circular frames.  I made these by using  circle cutter but if your don't have one of these you could use a some side plates.

As part of the mini themes there are additional elements which can really add the finishing touches to the projects.
