Ruby Rock-It

I do

by Cindy Walker Stevens | July 24, 2013

Hello & Happy Wednesday, Scrappy Peeps!

Cindy here today, with a new project to share with you using my 13 year old wedding pic (EEK!!) and the new Betrothed line from Ruby Rock-it.

I knew as soon as I saw this delicate floral pattern that I would stitch this to mimic a piece of cloth and I knew I would play up the subtle yellow in the pattern with pops of yellow here and there on my layout. You really can't go wrong with a good stripe and text style patterned paper for a classic look. (I am so fearful of my wedding album looking 'dated' quickly), so I am trying my best to keep things as neutral as possible. I added a bit of whimsy with a bright yellow ribbon from the Cook line and a piece of glittered border included in the new wedding embelishments which coordinate with all the new lines.

I used the Twinery Twine in Charcoal & Buttercream.

Thanks so much for visiting today!

HUGS & Happy Surfing!
