Let your Christmas Sparkle

Let your Christmas Sparkle

It is so wonderful that you stopped over today to see what is new with our Ruby Rock-it design team.  We have lots of Christmas ideas for you all month so in keeping with the holidays i have a really quick card to share that i made with the Francheville card assortment in metallic and the Forever Blue Glitter pack.  And as always i get all inspired and just keep creating so i also did a quick snowflake ornament and a glittery box to put a little something in.
I had just gotten a new stamp with Christmas trees so i thought i would make a pretty layered card using Tim Holtz distress inks and some glitter and embossing powders.  I made a mask to create the layered snow at the bottom with weathered wood and then stamped the trees with evergreen bough.  It was just enough of a difference in the blue and green to create a nice base.  I wanted to added white embossed snow so i used clear embossing powder to set all the base colors and then i went back over the trees and stamped the snow part and added white embossing powder and then both white and blue glitter to make the trees sparkle.

I also added a few little twinkling snowflakes and the holiday wishes in black for my sentiment.  This was an easy card to make and would be great for a last minute gift to send or give.

And for this little cutie i used a Becca Feeken die and cut it out of silver glitter paper.  I just needed 4 sides and then i cut a bottom and a handle and glued it all together with a glue gun.  And i found this really pretty and fancy ribbon for both sides and glued that on too.  These would be gorgeous to do on your holiday table for each guest with mints and a few goodies to take home!
And lastly i have lots of these little wooden ornaments i needed to do something with so i got out a big bottle of Decoupage glue and painted it all and then just sprinkled on lots of shades of blue glitter.  It worked really good and i think i will do some other ones to decorate with too.
Thanks so very much for stopping by today and hope you get a chance to make something glittery and fun for your home too!
