Little Wild Things

Little Wild Things

Today i have a fun project for your kids to make to decorate their rooms.  My kids loved themed rooms growing up and we always had fun making things to decorate it for them.  So--- we have some brand new Safari themed papers called "Wild Thing" and i got to work and created a fun little upcycle tub for safari toys or cars and a cute little sign for their door.  And you can make lots more things too .... let the creative side of your kids shine and see what they can do.

For the door sign i started with a piece of kraft corrugated board and then layered on those gorgeous pieces of safari paper matted with black.  Those cute little dotted chipboard lettersare RR too and they are adhesive and go on super easy.  And to make them match a bit more i used a sponge dauber and added a bit of black chalk ink.  Then i punched holes in the top and tied it with a piece of twine.
And what mom doesn't want a place for all their kids toys to be stowed away.  Grab all those old tubs you have and recycle them with cute paper that matches the theme of their room you are doing.  It doesn't have to be really fancy and making it easy for them to do and to create will keep their rooms picked up and nice.  And it's a fun project to get in a little cutting and gluing skills practice.
Thanks so much for stopping over today for some fun new ideas!
