My Romance...not just for weddings.

by Aliciabarrydesigns | August 8, 2013

This month at Ruby Rock-It, we are showing you that the brand new release wedding ranges are so much more versatile, than being used only for weddings. Always one to play outside the rules in my scrapbooking, the blue papers in the My Romance range stood out to me at first sight. Having two little boys, it's alwasy just that little bit harder to find great ranges for them, and so these papers immediately made me think of baby boys.

While my little boy is about to 9, it was so nice to go back and look at pictures of him and his brother when they were far smaller than they are now. This picture was taken the day he became a big brother. At a time when all eyes were on the new baby, I'm so glad to have captured this beautiful photo. I can't believe how different he looks.

And I digress. Back to the layout.

Remember when

I have used two sheets of the Frame It to create this dimensional layout. I have double layered the decorative corners and the lace frame. The centre square was removed and raised on two layers of chipboard to elevate it from the base.

Remember when 3

I have used partner company Scrap FX chipboard for the scroll and title, and some paper doilies. Everything else is handcut from the My Romance papers.

Remember when 2

I'm sure lots of you out there have baby pictures to scrap, so give My Romance a second look.
