Now & Forever Wedding or Anniversary Card by Becky Olsen

by Becky Olsen | June 21, 2013

Vellum and bling are naturals together! Just like peanut butter and jelly, they make sense for almost any special occasion :)

And since it is wedding season (which automatically makes it anniversary season as well) making a card to have on hand for one of those important events is always a good idea! No matter how much notice I have, they seem to sneak up on me and surprise me at the last minute! (anyone else have that problem?)

I used the stepper card, and stitched vellum onto both fronts, but on the smaller front face, I left the top unstitched so that I could slip a gift card or cash in behind the die cut. This is a nice detail because it gives me a solution to any last minute celebrating  :)

The collage collections are always a great add for texture and beautiful details, and they really add beautiful color to this card! The bling is so delicate and eye catching, I love how it pulls the eye into the floral arrangement.

And by carefully bending one of the bling long strands around the circumference of the die cut it really pops the message of the card, so elegant!

And this post, I am sad to say, is my last with Ruby Rock-It. I have a son that is getting married in just 48 days, and I have a lot of exciting crafting and organizing that his darling bride-to-be is letting me help with.

I want to thank Erin and the entire Ruby Rock-It team for an exceptional design team experience and all you wonderful readers for taking time to visit with us here, it makes creating that much more fun when we get to share what we love to do!

Happy Crafting!
