Ruby Rock-It

Sweet baby mini album using August Moon

by Amanda Jones | April 17, 2012

Hi Ruby Rock-it fans! It's Amanda here and I'm returning today with the rest of the album I shared with you at the beginning of the month.

If you remember, I was making a baby album for my brother and his wife who are expecting their first baby, a girl, in June. I used mostly the August Moon collection along with vellum and a few other bits and pieces :)

Inside the cover I left some space for baby details, and created a vellum pocket filled with tags for them to write notes on.

I wanted to share a little tip here too - I usually use a vellum tape runner to adhere my vellum onto projects. But this vellum is so luscious and thick that I just used regular wet craft glue and it does not show through. Much cheaper than vellum adhesive and it also gives a stronger hold so that my vellum stays put!

Plenty of girly bling and shapes cut using my Silhouette.

I used white card to make spaces for them to add their photos, and made sure not to glue things down which were overlapping the picture areas.

I can't wait to hand it over and see it filled up with gorgeous pictures of my niece!

Thanks for visiting us today!
