The festivities of December revisited

The festivities of December revisited

So that was another Christmas folks.  If you blinked, you would've missed it.  Christmas parties, shopping, carols, visits to Santa, wrapping presents, tree decorating, eating twice our weight in food and drinking more than we care to admit (oh and did I mention lots of shopping?)  Yep that's the Christmas we know and love.  It’s nothing short of amazing the preparation and effort we go to (and the money we spend).  No wonder we're exhausted by the end of it!  I always feel a hint of sadness when it comes and goes so quickly but it’s nice to breathe a sigh of relief and have everything return back to normal.  It’s almost as if everything else is put on hold during those weeks leading up to Christmas. Like we’re all walking around in some sort of bubble.

Now the bubble has burst and it’s back to reality.  2017 is the time for new beginnings. Set some goals for the year ahead  and start believing that you CAN and WILL achieve every single goal on your list.  If you’re a visual person (and I’m guessing the majority of you reading this will be), then a great way to feed your inspiration, visualize your goals and keep you motivated is to create a vision board. It’s a fun little project you can do that will serve a valuable purpose. Keep yourself accountable and don’t make excuses.

Another fun project is this cool 'Wish Card' by Beck where you can write little prompts and words of focus for the year ahead to keep you inspired.

Our Ruby Rock-it design team did an amazing job getting us into the festive spirit by sharing their inspirational ideas and designs.  But if you missed it, here’s a recap of what went down in December:

It was great to see Our Joyeux Noel collection featured a lot this festive season.  This Advent Calendar created by Christine definitely set the bar for all other advent calendars out there.  What a fun project to do with the kids.  I’m certainly going to keep this one up my sleeve for next Christmas……

Teresa created these gorgeous decorated christmas packages.  Turn any ordinary package into EXTRAORDINARY!

For those time poor people (like me), Beck showed us how to effortlessly whip up these eye catching Christmas cards that were super easy to create.

Keeping with the card theme, Alicia shared her stunning vintage style cards also featuring the Joyeux Noel collection.

Christine’s dazzling Christmas boxes were just a treat!

After Thanksgiving and Christmas, Teresa took some time out for herself to scrap some beautiful pages featuring our gorgeous True Romantic papers and other Bella! goodies.

Thanks to one and all for your support in 2016 and I promise we will bring you an even better 2017.  We’ve got lots up our sleeve so keep on reading our posts, following us on social media and enjoying our amazing Ruby Rock-it, Bella!, Fundamentals and Bead It products.  So get to work on that Vision Board and be prepare to BE INSPIRED.  See you next month!
