Tuesday Tutorial | Travel Tag Fun!

Hi Ruby Rock-it fans it's Teresa H. here today to share a fun tutorial that you can do with your kids for your next vacation this summer.  I love to travel but trying to find my luggage in a sea of black suitcases makes me a little crazy so i always make lots of fun tags to tie on my luggage along with lots of colorful ribbons so i know exactly which one is mine.

To make the tags you will need lots of our new Kraftastic papers and stickers and maybe even some of those leftover flowers, jewels and other Ruby Rock-it embellishments that you might have.

First cut apart the Kraftastic 3x4 tags that you see above.  Then cut 6 pieces of thin chipboard to 3x4 and glue the fronts on.  Glue sticks work great for this.  And then I cut pretty pieces of the other Kraftastic decorative papers to go on the backs of them.
Next you are going to fussy cut out some of the tags and other fun things from the Glittery Stars paper and also the Starry Night patterned paper to glue on your tags.  I also used a few of the
3D Roses stickers from my last post.

And here are a few more fun things that you can add on them.  Gorgeous butterflies from the Heritage collection and fun stickers and beautiful silver adhesive letters from Oriental Chic.

And then just have fun and decorate each of them by layering all the fun things that you have and create beautiful luggage tags to tie on with your names and addresses on the back.  I had so much fun and all the products mixed and matched so well.  Oh and be sure and punch a hole in the top of each to thread some of your favorite ribbons that you have to match from your stash.

Here is a couple of close-ups of the tags...  And this would be perfect for a fun afternoon with your kids this summer to make special tags for their luggage or backpacks too!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and don't forget to share us on Facebook
with your friends.  Can't wait to see the airport luggage areas this summer, I am
sure they are going to be so much fun!!
