[W] on Wednesday | Generations of Love with Erin

Hello Ruby Rock-It Fans, it's Erin here with you today!  In our family, there are many crafty women, and sewing has been a love for many of them, including my oldest daughter, who was taught by my sweet Mom.

This is just one of the many reasons why I scrapbook...it's in our family to be crafty, among our beautiful aunties, cousins, Moms, Grandmas, and daughters.

Today's project is one that I will keep in our art studio, next to my daughter's sewing desk!  While I don't sew, I scrapbook, create cards, keep our memories together, paint, and I do like to stitch on paper!

This canvas I've had for some time, and this beautiful stencil came from Basic Grey.  I painted the edges and some on the inside...

And then began punching out circles of my favorite papers from our gorgeous Country Cookin' range!

After filling those in, I dressed up this dress form with our beautiful papers, bling and ribbons!

This instantly reminds me of my Grandma and her precious hands, and all the beautiful clothes she would make for me!

Here's the supplies:

Country Cookin CIN107

Country Cookin CIN60

Country Cookin CiN52

Country Cookin CIN84

Country Cookin CIN13

Basic Grey Canvas Stencil

Ranger Paint

Maya Road Dress Form

Thank you for stopping by and making Ruby Rock-It a part of your creative day!  Please share with us why you scrapbook!  We love to hear!

And fun news for early next month for our Australia Fans:  Spotlight will have Country Cookin and Handi Scandi available!
