[W] on Wednesday | Honoring Mom

Hi folks! Teresa A here with a little project I made for Mother's Day.

I made three little books (one for each of my children), and asked them to write about me. My favourite colour, shows I like to watch, things they like to do with me etc. It's a great way to see myself through my children's eyes.

They are small books, about the size of your hand, made by folding a 6 x 9 piece of paper. They're so simple to make, which leaves lots of time for the embellishing.

This first book I made with blue and gold as the main colours:

Products used:
Something Blue papers
ADE63 Oriental Chic Cardstock Stickers
ADE87 Oriental Chic Die Cut pack
ADE70 Oriental Chic Florals
ADE56 Oriental Chic Wood Veneer (for the cover)
KGS65 Kraftastic Sticker alpha
RB41 Ribbon Bucklez Square

For the next book, I thought I'd wrap one of the beautiful Bella Floral Embellishments around the spine - it feels wonderful in my hands:

Products used:
Rustic Charms papers
JA0777 Bella Floral Embellishment
RB43 Ribbon Bucklez Hearts
This last book has actually been filled in by my youngest daughter - she's the one I spend the most time with this year as I still drive her to school:

Products used:
Get Hitched papers
ADE63 Oriental Chic Cardstock Stickers
JA0481 White Florals
RB42 Ribbon Bucklez Round
All of the books have ribbon wrapped around them and secured with a cute little Ribbon Bucklez. I changed the colour of some of the bucklez with a Copic marker so that they would match their books better.
Just think - all of these books were made using papers from wedding collections! That's how versatile the designs are.
Thanks for stopping by!
