[W] on Wednesday | Scrap The Silly with Pattie
Hi everyone!  Pattie here to share with you a layout that I created.  I often get asked, "why do you scrapbook? Aren't you just creating clutter?"  I can sometimes understand the point that's being made, especially if you have seen me scrap! But at the same time, I had to step back and really evaluate why I scrap.  I started when my kids were toddlers.  It seems like just a couple of years have flown by, but in reality, I now have a 20 and an 18 year old.  I look at these beautiful faces and can't believe that my job as "Mom"- you know the mom that picks up after everyone, sits down to help with homework, the mom that attends back to school night and band concerts- that job is done.  I now have two college students that have embarked on their own journeys.  I can't get back any of those years that have passed, but I am so thankful to have my scrapbooks, with all of those cherished memories tucked away not just for me, but for my family, children and future grandchildren.
I used the Handi Scandi range from Ruby Rock-It to make this layout, along with some beautiful twine from our swap partner this month, The Twinery.
I made these intertwined hearts with the solid Maraschino and Solid Pink Sorbet twines.
I also made these spider web flowers using the twine.

Thanks for stopping by!! Happy Scrapping!!
