[W] on Wednesday | Sweet Summer

Hi Ruby Rock-it fans it's Teresa H here today on this fabulous W on Wednesday sharing a few fun projects that i did with the new "Summer Daze" Mini Collection.  I adore this line and it was so fun to use i made a super cute Summer Photo album for my next trip to Hawaii and a couple of cards to give.

For the book base i used a Fancy Pants journal and then used lots and lots of fun product from the "Summer Daze" line to decorate the front.  I used the wood paper from the set for the base and then i used the borders from the "Good Times" paper to go up the side.  Aren't those shells just so pretty?

For my title i thought that one of the tags from the "Good Times" paper would work great so i layered it with card stock in ivory and kraft and popped that up over the printed papers.  And then i added lots of "Dimensional stickers" from the set and a few "Die cuts" too.  And the "Wood Veneers" were my favorite because each of them is filled with cute little words, arrows and numbers to fill in the blank spots.  It was really fun to make and it went together so quick....

Here is a closeup of the book so that you can see the papers, stickers and wood veneers..
Yes i could go on and on about how much i love this line... the colors are so gorgeous! And i can't wait to fill it in with photos and journaling of our trip... it's going to be so fun.
And i even had enough left over for cards.  This one i created the backround oval with a die and then created the base for it with cardstock and "vellum".  The party collage i created with bits from the Dimensional Stickers and the Die cuts... this was super easy too.
And my last card i used a square die cut and then layered lots of those gorgeous papers and die cuts on top of it and added a few wood veneer arrows and some twine to make it more tropical.  I think that the little bit of glitter in the flowers and the frame die cut really make it fun.
Here is a quick closeup of this card too so that you can see all the cute things on it.  Thanks so much for stopping over today and be sure and share us on Facebook and Pinterest with your friends... and share with us what you do on Facebook too.  We would love to see what you make!
