Crafty September Fun

Wow!  Can you believe we are just about to hit the fourth quarter of 2017.  How on earth did that arrive so quickly?  I'm thinking that it's almost time to start the Christmas shopping because like every year, the festive season will be upon us quicker than you can say "Christmas is coming!"  I'm guessing though that our American friends are already planning their Thanksgiving celebrations and looking forward to spending some quality time with their family and friends!

It's October on Sunday which marks the middle of Spring for us here in the Southern hemisphere.  Where I live on the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia, we're already experiencing a taste of the Summer weather with many of us dusting off the summer swimwear and making the brave move to test out the water temperatures of our pools and beaches.

Let's Recap.....

This month our featured products were the new Francheville card and envelope sets and our Just Bead-It JBH beading collection which are all available from Spotlight stores around Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia.  We also gave you a glimpse of the  Tim Holtz Distress Mini Inks which will be our featured product in October.  So make sure you stay tuned for some Mixed Media fun!

If you missed any of our posts during September or you're looking for inspirational craft ideas then here's a quick recap of all the remarkable projects from our team of Ruby Rock-it and Just Bead It designers.  Enjoy!

Fall Inspired Thankful Card Featuring Tim Holtz Distress Mini Inks by Alicia

Ruby Rock-It are partnering with Ranger at the moment for some product swaps, and we have been working with the Tim Holtz Distress Ink Minis.  I have used them in a couple of ways on this fall inspired Thankful card.

Crafty Cards | Autumn Inspired by Teresa

It's time again for some new inspiration for our new card sets from Francheville.  This week i picked a gorgeous set with lots of fun metallic shades in it to make a few fall cards to send out this week. i got out lots and lots of my Ruby Rock-it staples from our Fundamentals collection to go with them.

Congratulations Card with Glitter and Bling by Alicia

I thought I would try something  little different this time with my project. I set out to make an elegant wedding card. I feel that maybe it turned out to be closer to maybe an anniversary card. I started with a gold card, then layered gold glitter, then finally added a metallic cream layer with foam dots in between.

Pretty Floral Spring Card by Beck

Hi everyone, Beck Beattie here today sharing a sweet card I created on the new Francheville card pack sets.  Have you tried these yet?  The colours are so fun, versatile so easy to match with the fun Ruby Rock-it and Bella! Paperz

Spring has Sprung | Colourful Neckwear by Chez

Hello this is Chez.... Today I have a colourful necklace to share with you.   This is a wonderful statement piece featuring the gorgeous Just Bead It beads... I hope you like it!

Bold and Bright Red Tassel Necklace by Melody

I was inspired by all the bright energy of the Brazilian Carnivale when I created this piece.  It is full of bold and beautiful colours! There are two sections to this design, the tassel pendant and the intricately beaded length. I really like the combination of red, yellow and gold and the different shapes and textures of the beads go really well to create a necklace full of wonderful summery vibes.

Pink Elle Earrngs by Chez

These beads made me feel so much better. You know those sort of weeks that surprise you... LOL I am very happy to be up on deck after losing my laptop. I hope you will enjoy this gorgeous bright Pink Elle Earring set that I created for you.

Blue & Silver Crystal Necklace & Earrings Set by Melody

This necklace and earring set was created using only two different strands of beads from the new JBH beading range. Although simple and easy to do, the results are spectacular.

Fearless Mixed Media Layout | Featuring Ranger Distress Inks by Christine

Ruby Rock-It and Ranger have teamed up to share some creative projects for the next couple of months. Ranger has brought out a line of Mini Distress Ink Pad Sets, and today I'm sharing a mixed media layout with the Rusty Hinge, Victorian Velvet, Broken China, and Gathered Twigs set with the Mini Ink Blending Applicators.

Our Big Day | A Rustic Wedding Layout by Teresa

Hi it's Teresa here today to share another page i did with my daughters wedding pictures from last year. I found this really cute candid picture that they had taken so i thought i would try and use papers to capture the rustic feeling of the place so they would always remember that special day.

Glittery Wedding Invitation Boxes by Christine

Hello everyone. I've got a colorful post to share with you today which features Bella's Glittered Cardstock range, Bella Bling and Ranger Tim Holtz's Mini Distress Inkpads. My friend has kindly asked me to make her exploding box wedding invitations and of course I took the challenge. I made a lot of these and the main challenge for me was the volume of this project, because I do not compromise on layers and details and I want it to be perfect for the soon to be wedded couple.

Until next time....
