Reminisce Mother Nature Acadia

Hello Ruby Rock-it Fans!  Here we are today with some lovely projects featuring our gorgeous Arcadia, Reminisce, and Mother Nature ranges!  I just adore these altogether...

Carrie and Lisa N. are up today,  and here's what they came up with:

Hello, it's Lisa here!  Ruby Rock-It is teaming up with Fiskars this month and I was lucky enough to get some fabulous punches to work with!

Those of you who know me, know I love to alter Laughing Cow cheese boxes. They are truly awesome for so many different projects. Plus I'm saving the environment by recycling them into something beautiful right???

What Mom wouldn't love to receive some jewelry or a gift card packaged inside this box?

I used the beautiful Reminisce Collection to create this gift box and tag. I covered the box inside and out and distressed the edges.

I used Reminisce papers to cut out the Vintage Dress Form Die from Cottage Cutz and layered it over the circle I punched with my Fiskars XXXL Lever Punch.

I used the ruler from some of the packaging in the quilling kit to embellish the front of my box. The packaging is just as beautiful as the product inside it!

I did some distressed punching along the sides of the box.

The little flower on the tag is a quilled flower I created direct from the quilling kit. I took a Kraft tag and stamped the front and back. I dressed it up with die cuts from the Reminisce die cut pack.

And next, Carrie has a beautifully heartfelt layout...and here's what she would like to share:

Hi RRBF fans! This month we have been celebrating our Moms, our Grandmothers, or that special someone who is like a mother figure to us. Without them where would we be? This Mother's Day I was feeling a bit youngest will be finishing up her first year of Junior High and my oldest will be graduating High School and is preparing to go away for college this year. I started to go through some old scrapbooks that I had done and even though I probably should have left the pages, there were some that to me just needed to be "redone". This one in particular really stood out to me as one of those layouts, not to mention that it was perfect for the theme we are celebrating. This was my daughter's Pre-School graduation. I asked her to tell me some things about myself that made me special to her. Her response made me smile and made me laugh a little. In her eyes I was special because: I am happy when she gives me hugs and kisses, I am really good at matching her clothes, I am always hugging and kissing her, I make the best carrot cake, I like to drink iced lattes, I always say "I love you" and just because I am the best Mommy! I wanted to keep this layout pretty minimal because as you can see the Mother Nature and Arcadia lines basically speak for themselves. The paper I used had a big "scenic" print on it and I really didn't want to cover it up so I used my craft knife and cut the outline of the prints out and used it as a photo corner somewhat. Also this month Fiskars was kind enough to provide us with some of their wonderful punches so I created a giant photo mat and used the border punch to make it stand out a bit more. A little bit of ink and a few embellishments finished off my layout.

Here's her supply list:

Thank you ladies for your beautiful projects in honor of Mother's Day!

Happy Crafting from all of us at Ruby Rock-it Bella! Fundamentals!
