Nostalgic Treasures Christmas Favours

December is not too far away and this means getting crafty with Christmas goodies. Crafters Choice has a gorgeous new Christmas collection named Nostalgic Treasures. Now I get to share with you my Christmas favours in the form of mini tussie mussies.

Ruby Rock-It Brands materials: Crafters Choice Nostalgic 6x6 Paper Pad, Nostalgic Die Cut Pack, Nostalgic Tag Pack, Francheville Metallic Cardstock Other: small circle punch, string, border punch

I chose three different papers from the 6x6 paper pad. It comes with some lovely gold foil details and has 24 different designs. Fold these into a cone then trim the excess pointy bits on top with sharp scissors and adhere properly. For a sturdier finish, you can start with a thin plain cardboard and then add the paper on top.

Punch two holes on the top to run some string through with a small circle punch. Match the size of the punch with the string you need.

Layer some die cut pieces and gold foiled tags onto each cone. You can use foam tape to adhere these like I did for extra dimension.

With the Francheville Metallic Cardstock, punch a small strip with a lacy pattern border puncher and adhere these on the top of each cone as pictured. I used the pearl cardstock color but any shade from the Francheville Cardstock pack is fine and will go well with the Nostalgic Treasures range.

Fussy cut three mini ribbons from the die cut pack and adhere these onto the bottom of each cone. Finish it all off by tying some strings through the top and the bottom and voila! Mini tussie mussy Christmas favours ready to be filled with chocolate coated nuts and raisins......goodie goodie!

Thanks for popping in and I hope I have inspired you to create with Crafters Choice Nostalgic Treasures collection. You will love all the beautiful gold foiling as much as I do. This is available to purchase at a Spotlight store near you. Stay tuned for more Christmas range and creations, how exciting!
