Coastal Happy Birthday Card

Hey there Ruby Rock-It fans! It's Beck Beattie here today to share with a card I created using the new 'Coast' collection. I love this collection and how easy it is to work with. I thought it would make a great boy themed project so thought I would give some cardmaking with it a go.

Natural twine

To create my card I layered some of the pattern papers onto a neutral card base. I then layered this with a doiley and some twine before adding a sentiment layered with some of the pattern paper.

To create more of a Sea feel I added some spray and paint splatter in the same tones featured on the card.

While still wet I sprinkled over some glitter and shook off the excess. This really added that glisten of when the sun catches the water and reflects. I believe it finished off the sea feel.
