Red, White & Blue Celebration Cards

Today I have another opportunity to share some seasonable joy with everyone. The new Red, White and Blue range from Bella! is perfect for all your 4th of July celebrations here in the States, but for those back home in Australia, it could also be used for Australia day since the colours match our flag.

I like to use a neutral colour for bold colour schemes like this, so I started out with kraft card bases. As I often do, I used the same combination of elements on both of my cards, to make a co-ordinated set. I also used the same colour twine to bring it all together.

The colours and patterns are bold enough that I didn't need to do a whole lot with them to make effective cards that stand out. In fact, these would be great cards to make with all your little left over scraps.

You'll also notice that I added in just tiny pieces of glitter cardstock to add a little sparkle without being too overwhelming.
